PMO Project Manager – Financial Industry
We are seeking an experienced PMO Project Manager to support a large remediation program within the financial sector. The role involves driving core PMO disciplines across multiple business and IT workstreams, ensuring effective governance, reporting, coordination, and program structure.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- Proven experience executing classic PMO activities in large-scale programs
- Strong background preparing management reporting, executive presentations, and decision proposals
- Solid experience with planning, governance, coordination, and follow-up
- High analytical capability and strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience with Jira/Confluence (advantage)
- Experience developing Power BI reports (advantage)
- Previous experience in finance, preferably banking or pension (advantage)
- Fluency in Danish and English
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Prepare, consolidate, and quality assure program reporting for senior management and steering committees
- Plan and follow up on steering committee and reference group meetings, including agenda preparation, materials, and minutes
- Review and quality assure project presentations and decision proposals
- Support program management with structured decision material and executive reporting
- Monitor actions, decisions, milestones, risks, and deadlines across the program
- Maintain accurate and updated program documentation
- Manage capacity planning and resource allocation overview across workstreams
- Coordinate cross‑program activities and ensure progress tracking
